We are registered for Early Years Free Entitlement, 30hrs funding & the 2 year funding.
EYFE funding is available for all children the term after their 3rd Birthday. Cut off dates for the terms are;
31st Aug, 31st Dec & 31st March.

All funding is for 38 weeks per year term time only, with a total of 570hrs over the academic year. The funding is applied as follows; Autumn Term 14 weeks, Spring Term 11 weeks & Summer Term 13 weeks. Stand alone funding can be taken in am/pm or full day sessions only.
If you choose to do 10hrs per week all year round, this totals 520hrs whereas 570hrs can be claimed, we will allow those 50hrs to be taken at any point during the academic year at a mutually convenient time. Please just ask.
Children who stay for lunch will be provided with a hot lunch and dessert. Our chef is based at the Hove branch. She has a Healthy Choice Gold Standard Award and 5 out of 5 stars for food hygiene. There is a 3-week rolling menu which is changed every 4 months.
Tea is a light snack prepared by our staff and served at approx 4pm.
The Nursery provides healthy snacks & drinks mid morning.
Dietary requirements are catered for.
We have been awarded a Healthy Choice Award for our healthy snacks. We also have 5 out of 5 stars for food hygiene & safety.
Children will have use of the garden at least twice a day. They will be taken out in their classes. They will be led out down the stairs, ensuring that each child holds on to the handrail. A First Aid box for use in the garden, is located on the lower ground floor. The garden is equipped with slides, climbing frames and bikes suitable to the children's age group. We have a bespoke mud kitchen for the children to explore.
The garden is used whenever possible in all weathers.
The garden is also equipped with toys & resources to support the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Staff to child ratios are maintained.
We offer a limited number of school pick-up places from our local school, Carden Primary for Reception children up to the age of 8.
If circumstances dictate that you only need a Nursery space on varied days occasionally, you can register your child with us & providing we have a place in the Nursery, it will be made available to you.
During the school holidays if you find childcare a problem or your playgroup is closed. We can offer a holiday club for the 0-8 yr olds, a deposit is not required for this facility.
